Adekunle Ajasin University set to recruit new lecturers

The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko [AAUA] in Ondo State is determined to re-open the University on December 2, and has begun hiring new lecturers, according to Daily Post. The Vice-Chancellor Femi Mimiko who had earlier ordered students to resume classes reach the decision few hours ago to recruit new lecturers after the striking members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ [ASUU] vowed not to go back to work. Chairman of ASUU in the institution, Dr. Busuyi Mekusi vowed that they will resist any action by the Vice-Chancellor to illegally recruit new workers.
