FG BRIBED US TO CALL OFF THE STRIKE-ASUU

The federal government has been accused by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) of influencing some lecturers to abandon the strike by offering them bribes. The chairman of the University of Lagos chapter of ASUU, Karo Ogbinaka, said this in a television programme on Monday. He said that the union was aware that some government agents have been going round campuses offering money to lecturers. Ogbinaka condemned the federal government’s alleged action of trying to break the strike instead of resolving it
