UNIBEN ASUU STRIKE UPDATE: ASUU(uniben chapter) Instructs Lecturers Not to comply to School's Instruction to resume today,Senate meets today for Presentation Of 2nd Semester Calendar.

The Senate meeting of the University of Benin which is scheduled for 10am today is going to witness the presentation of the academic calendar to the governing Council and Senators.
Prior to the news broadcasted in Benin local stations yesterday instructing academic staffs to resume, the ASUU body of Uniben at about 7:12pm yesterday sent a message to all lecturers Via bulk SMS instructing that "none of them should resume saying that the struggle for a better nigerian university continues." Who would the lecturers listen to? UNIBEN or ASUU? But the question still on my mind is....."Na ASUU wan pay salary???, If they Get Sacked, ASUU go find work for them???" I leave that question for my opponent to answer. It should be recalled that UNN resumed Yesterday and Lectures held across all lecture halls without any disturbance from the school's ASUU chapter. Pls share

  1. You know what pains me is the fact dat amidst the tossle of hu izz ryt n hu iznt,ASUU members and d Universities seem to forget d popular sayin that "United we stand,Divided we fall!"ASUU is already divided on dia opinion of d continuation ov d strike n it will take God's grace to see dia fight yeild fruit! So sad.

  2. I totaly agree wit u.I think its beta 4 asuu 2 acept fg's proposal n cal off d strike in oda 2 at least gain a little(of which 2 me is reasonable) dividend 4 their struggle."Asuu",'let not ur good b evil spoken'
