Ahead of the Pan African Finale of the Airtel Trace Music Star scheduled to hold in Kenya on Saturday, March 28, 2015, Senegal-born American singer, Akon will arrive Kenya on
Friday, March 27, 2015 to take part at the epic event.

He will be accompanied by Devyne Stephens, a well-respected music mogul that discovered Jay Z, P Diddy, Alicia Keys, Usher, Mariah Carey among other music heavyweights

Already, 13 finalists from 13 African countries have emerged for the Pan African finale and the overall Pan African winner will win a trip to the USA to be sponsored by Akon, get a professional music video and a record deal with Universal Music.

Airtel Trace Music Star is an international singing contest that recognises talented young people who are dramatically and musically convincing in a wide range of repertoire. The contest aims at giving the nation’s hopefuls a real opportunity to come through the ranks as budding artists in any genre or style.
